“De ratten zitten tussen de struiken in de geveltuinen. Soms 1 en soms 2. Verleden week heb ik er nog een gezien. ’s Avonds lopen ze daar. Dan hoor ik: oh, daar loopt er weer een en dan weet ik dat het een rat is.
Ik houd m’n achtertuin heel schoon, daar spelen kinderen.
En wat denk je als er een rat in m’n gang zit..?”

“Vanmorgen heb ik de gemeente nog gebeld vanwege de vervuiling en ratten. Vanmorgen rond 9 uur heb ik nog een rat gezien. Hij kwam uit een struik voorbij de poort, schoof onder de auto; toen kwam de buurman met een stok om hem weg te jagen. Toen is ie weggeschoten in de struiken van het volgende geveltuintje. Bewoners die eten in de achtertuin gooien, krijgen direct van mij te horen dat het niet kan”.
